Why are disposable vapes so popular?

However with all of the postives said, there are some downsides to disposable vapes. This ranges from value, to inconsistency, to environmental concerns. As such we want to make sure all of our customers are also aware of those.

One of the biggest concerns with disposable vapes is the inconsistency, since these are made to be as cost effective as possible, for the stores, and customers. This unfortunately creates an inconsistency with the product. Sometimes the flavour will taste off, the battery will die to fast, the coil will burn quickly and in a worst case scenario you get a dud out of the box.

Another major concern, is the environmental impact. Although all electronic cigarettes produce some waste (although less then analog cigarettes). Disposable ones definitely create the most. Since they are only one time use devices, these are thrown out on mass, unfortunately due to the battery inside and traces of nicotine these devices are not recyclable. Although some vape shops make an effort to dispose of them properly, most people are not willing to carry around multiple dead vapes until their next trip to the vape store.

The last concern would be the price point. The larger the size of the disposable, the better the price. That is generally a true statement. However when comparing these to traditional vapes and ecigarettes, they are way more expensive. For reference the most expensive disposable vape contains about 10mls of With a price of $24 that equals more then $1.00 per 0.5mls. In comparison to salt nicotine, that is much pricier. You can get a 30ml bottle of salt nicotine ejuice for $15 which would equal $1.00 per 2mls!  Which is 4 times cheaper. You can also get a 60ml bottle of freebase ejuice which could be up to 6 times cheaper!

At the end of the day, it’s up to each individual which device to go with. Whatever works for you to get off traditional cigarettes is what you should stick with!
